12:29pm Thursday 2nd September 2010

Richard Gere has dislocated his shoulder rehearsing a fight scene for his new film The Double.
According to The Daily Telegraph, production has been put on hold for six weeks as a result of the injury, which took place on-set.
The 61-year-old actor was in an action scene with 42-year-old British hardman Tamer Hassan, who revealed: "We had been rehearsing for four weeks every night and Richard was great, but he had a problem with his shoulder. He ... dislocated his shoulder."
The Double, directed by Michael Brandt, centres around the story of a retired CIA operative who teams up with a young FBI agent to investigate the murder of a US senator.
The murder looks as though it was carried out by a Soviet assassin, who was thought to have been dead.
