Charity law firm take on Thames Walk challenge
7:00am Thursday 23rd February 2012

A team of legal eagles took part in a trek along the River Thames to raise money for a charity law firm.
Lawyers and staff from South West London Law Centres (SWLCC) based in Battersea and Tooting raised £670 after completing the 40 mile trek last weekend.
A team of nine fundraisers started at Canary Wharf on Saturday, finishing at Hampton Court Palace.
The money raised will help fund the law centres, which provide free legal advice on issues such as debt, homelessness and welfare benefits.
It was organised as part of a fundraising drive planned by the legal charity, after its funding was slashed due to cuts in government grants.
